Allan Leinwand focuses on technology investments and joined Panorama Capital in 2004. From 2001 to 2004, he was President and Co-founder of Proficient Networks, Inc. From 2000 to 2001, he was Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering at Telegis Networks, Inc., and held the same positions while at Digital Island, Inc. from 1997 to 2000. From 1990 to 1997, Mr. Leinwand served as Manager of Consulting Engineering and Senior Software Engineer at Cisco Systems, Inc. Leinwand holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He presently serves on the board of directors of Affinity Internet, Inc. and Vyatta, Inc.
Lance Walter, VP of Marketing, Pentaho
Lance Walter is the VP of marketing at Pentaho and his responsibilities include positioning, awareness, developer community support, and lead-generation. Lance most recently served as Vice President of Product Marketing for Business Objects (NASDAQ: BOBJ), where he lead the product marketing integration of the Crystal Decisions acquisition, and drove the most successful product launch in the company's history. Lance also held executive management positions at Siebel, Hyperion and Oracle.
Christine Herron, Director - Omidyar Network
Jacob Taylor is the Co-Founder and the eading architect for SugarCRM and defines, manages and develops the core Sugar Suite technology. Previous to co-founding SugarCRM, Jacob Taylor was the Sr. Development Manager at E.piphany in charge of platform infrastructure and services. Previous to E.piphany, Jacob worked at Symantec Corp. Jacob attained his BS in Computer Science and Engineering from UCLA and an MS in Artificial Intelligence from UCLA
Christine Herron, Director - Omidyar Network
Christine has spent her career finding new applications for infrastructure technologies. At Omidyar Network, Christine makes investments that drive collaboration, community, and access to information. Prior to Omidyar Network, Christine was the VP of Marketing for Mission Research, which develops software for emerging nonprofits. As a principal with Cycle Partners, she conducted strategy, marketing, and research projects for technology vendors and social community groups. Christine was the founder of Mercury2, an international trade policy software vendor, and has driven Internet products and strategy for both NetObjects and Microsoft. She started as an investor with Geocapital Partners, where she focused on early Internet infrastructure and network management software.
Paul Jahn, Partner - Morrison & Foerster
Paul E. Jahn is a partner in and until recently served as co-chair of the firm's Technology Transactions Group and advises several leading open source companies. His practice is focused on counseling companies with respect to intellectual property matters, particularly with respect to the development, licensing, acquisition, and sale of intellectual property and technology; strategic alliances and joint ventures; distribution and commercialization arrangements; outsourcing; branding agreements; and the settlement of related disputes. He was recently named as a Leading IT Outsourcing Lawyer in California by Chambers USA (2005) and a Northern California Super Lawyer by San Francisco Magazine (2004).rsity of Colorado at Boulder. He presently serves on the board of directors of Affinity Internet, Inc. and Vyatta, Inc.
