Dr. Burton Lee is a technology
venture finance professional with 15+ years senior
management and technical experience in seed-stage
venture finance; venture-backed startups; major global
technology corporations (GE, HP, DaimlerChrysler);
government executive service; federal and state science,
technology, commercialization and economic development
agencies; and leading research universities. Dr. Lee's
management and entrepreneurship expertise includes a
diverse track record in new venture investment;
technology startup operations; innovation process
management, including technology commercialization;
corporate development, strategy & strategic alliances;
federal and commercial business development; and federal
science, technology & innovation policy.
Sajit Bhaskaran, Aspen Networks
Sajit Bhaskaran has over 25 years
of experience in the computer networking industry,
holding a variety of positions in engineering
management, systems architecture and sales support.
Prior to co-founding Aspen Networks, Mr. Bhaskaran was
the original founding team system architect at Cosine
Communications and the key architect of its Frame Relay
over IP protocol specification. Before Cosine, he worked
at Prime Computer Inc, Proteon Inc, Wellfleet
Communications, Bay Networks, NEC America, Holontech,
and CyberIQ Systems. Mr. Bhaskaran holds multiple US
patents in the fields of computer networks and server
load balancing. He graduated with a BSc Honors in
Mathematics, National University of Singapore (1981),
and holds MS degrees in Computer Science (1985), and
Operations Research/Statistics (1985) from Rennselaer
Polytechnic Institute
Patrina Mack, Vision
& Execution, Moderator
Patrina Mack, founder and Managing
Partner of Vision & Execution, has 20 years of marketing
experience in both small entrepreneurial and large
corporate organizations. She has extensive experience in
business-to-consumer and business-to-business marketing
strategy and implementation. Her industry expertise
spans the Internet, telecom, software, financial
services, and consumer products industries. She has been
instrumental in key product innovations in new and
emerging markets, and has been responsible for many
product and process improvements for Fortune 500
companies. Ms. Mack has held product marketing positions
with AirTouch Communications (now Vodafone), where she
was responsible for identifying market opportunities for
PCS wireless, and with NetGravity (now DoubleClick),
where she was responsible for hosted interactive
advertising solutions. In previous consulting roles, Ms.
Mack has worked with many Fortune 500 companies,
including: Adobe Systems, Allen-Bradley Company, Bankers
Trust, Del Monte, Mellon Bank, Microsoft, Nabisco
Brands, Pacific Bell, Silicon Graphics, Visa.
